Welcome to Lonewolf Racing
Lonewolf Racing is based on the Akwesasne Mohawk Reservation located on the border of New York State, Ontario and Quebec. Akwesasne is the only Native Nation in North America that borders two countries, one state and two provinces. Because of our geographic location Lonewolf Racing is truly an international race team organization, which is unique in the fact that the team members are all members of the Indigenous Nation of Akwesasne. The team members are all of Mohawk descent and proudly represent the Mohawk community of Akwesasne in the race circuits both in Canada and the United States.

Lonewolf Racing is a family owned Racing Team composed of the members of the Eugene and Jackie Tarbell family. In 1994 the family began racing seriously in Snowmobile Ice Drag races. Eugene was the mechanic and driver, and his wife, Jackie was co-owner. When son Brad Tarbell reached 15 years old he became the driver of the Pro-Stock 800 Snowmobile and Eugene became the primary mechanic to the team. Summers were boring for the family with no snowmobile racing available so Dad Eugene began racing Go-Carts in 1999. In his second year racing Go-Carts Eugene took 2nd in the 2000 race season at two different tracks. Later, son Brad, and his sister Claudia, raced Go-Carts while learning from their father’s experience. In between racing Go-Carts and snowmobiles the family also raced RC (Remote Controlled) cars at the local Frogtown Hobby Shop.

In the summer of 2003, Eugene, and daughter Claudia, went as spectators to the local dirt track car races at The Frogtown International Speedway. They joked about which race car they would like to buy, never thinking that by 2004, Lonewolf Racing, would evolve to Bandit Racecar Racing. Now, Claudia Tarbell is the driver of the Lonewolf Racing Toyota Celica #7D, Brad Tarbell is the driver and mechanic of the Lonewolf Racing Pontiac Sunfire #7B, Eugene Tarbell is co-owner, mechanic, and substitute driver, and Jackie Tarbell is co-owner and organizer.

The name Lonewolf Racing came from a local snowmobile race hero who thought of Eugene as the “lone wolf” in the racing circuit early in his race career. The name now proudly represents the Tarbell dream of professional racing and success in the race car circuit nationally and internationally.
