Biography:
Eugene Tarbell is a Mohawk Iron Worker, out of Union Local 440, and has been interested in racing all his life. Eugene began his racing career through snowmobile ice drag racing in 1994. He raced at the Canadian World Series (3 yrs), Cross Border Racing Series (4 yrs) and Eastern Speed Racing Series (3 yrs). From 1995-1999 the family all raced RC (Radio Controlled) cars, which are mini racecars that use the same race principles as full sized cars. From 1999-2003 Eugene got into racing go-carts. In 2004 Eugene and his son Brad built a Bandit racecar from a 1990 Toyota Celica. The car started late in the season but still finished 8th in overall points. In 2005 the same car finished 2nd in points.
Eugene is the founder and co-owner of Lonewolf Racing, a family owned and operated racing team organization located in the reservation community of Akwesasne on the border of New York State, Ontario and Quebec. Eugene nutured his family’s love and passion for racing by exposing his children at a very young age to the excitement of racing to win starting with snowmobile racing, Go-Cart racing, RC (Remote Controlled) car racing and eventually evolving to dirt track Bandit car racing. The family has racing in its blood thanks to Eugene who is the backbone of the team with his driving expertise and mechanical abilities. Eugene is the proud father and husband to the Lonewolf Racing team which has the hopes and dreams of achieving professional level success in the future. Lonewolf Racing is unique in many ways and deserves recognition for its impressive representation in the racing world for the community of Akwesasne and its people.
